David M. Schmidt
David M. Schmidt began his career in real estate in the 1970's following graduation from the University of Nebraska College of Business Administration. His initial involvements were with a brokerage and appraisal business, including owning and managing an appraisal company and a real estate brokerage franchise office for Century 21.
In 1985 he co-founded Concorde Management & Development, Inc.
in order to manage and develop the real estate investments owned by himself and his partners. Since that time, the Lincoln-based company has expanded its reach to include fee management for other owners and investors. Through David's leadership, Concorde has become a company known for its integrity and dedication to excellence.
David believes it is important to be involved in community activities as well as in industry organizations in order to better serve clients and tenants. He is active with the Great Plains Trail Network in local fundraising efforts for city trails and has served on many Boards of Directors for various entities over the years.
David is a member of the National Association of Realtors, the Omaha Board of Realtors, the Lincoln Realtors Assn, and the Institute of Real Estate Management-Chapter 12 (IREM). He obtained the designation of Certified Property Manager through his affiliation with IREM.
Throughout his career, David has proven to be a key player in all phases of real estate to include: sales, valuation, development, investing, property management, and construction management.

Thomas C. Smith
Thomas C. Smith is the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Consolidated Investment Corporation (CIC), the holding company for SHFSC and several other investment related entities. He was partner with David Schmidt in co-founding Concorde Management & Development, Inc. in 1985 and continues to be involved in Concorde's strategic planning, purchasing and disposition activities. Tom has been instrumental to Concorde's growth, planning and success.
Private companies also value Tom Smith's expertise. He serves on the Board of Directors of: Acro Business Finance Corp., Cash Service, Inc, Global Industries, Heritage Warranty Mutual Insurance Co., Jacob North Companies, and Midwest First Financial, Inc.
Among Tom's numerous civic and professional affiliations include service on the Board of Directors for the Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital, the Nebraska Independent College Foundation and the Foundation for Educational Services. He also serves on the executive committee of the University of Nebraska Foundation.
Tom, or "Smitty," as he is known to family and friends, is a native of Hastings, Nebraska and graduated from NU with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration in 1968

Wilma Hanson-McCoy
Wilma Hanson-McCoy joined the Concorde team in 1994, bringing with her an extensive background of experience and education in accounting, computer programming, software development, human resources and employee training.
Wilma is a licensed real estate agent who continues to complement her background with continuing education in real estate law, fair housing, technology, human resources, and real estate maintenance. This level of expertise fosters confidence and assurance that all Concorde transactions are handled properly.
She is constantly looking for the most efficient and cost-effective methods to manage all Concorde operations as well as the properties in its portfolio. Wilma is dedicated to leading the Concorde team to perform at a level with the best in the industry. She wants everything the company does to reflect that philosophy.

Brett Cover
At age 20, Brett Cover acquired his first investment property. Through that experience, he realized that Property Management would be his career of choice. No newcomer to the field, he has since added two more properties to his portfolio.
Brett joined Concorde as a student intern in 2003 and quickly proved to be another company asset. The next year, he was promoted to Property Manager.
Brett is a 2004 graduate of the University of Nebraska, having earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He is a native of Norfolk, Nebraska.
He brings with him a natural ability to seek out solutions to any hurdles he encounters. Brett is always looking for innovative perspectives to manage and maintain properties better and more efficiently.  Rick Menke
Rick Menke joined the Concorde team in 1991 with an extensive knowledge of construction and maintenance. He began in the construction industry in 1967 and has continued to hone his skills and knowledge since then.
He and his team of technicians excel in the area of property maintenance management. They provide quality, continuous preventative maintenance programs as well as quick response 24-hour emergency services, ensuring that your investment is protected.
Rick's team consists of experienced maintenance technicians and certified air conditioning personnel. Their expertise spans many disciplines, including painting, flooring, carpentry, minor electrical and plumbing, drain cleaning, HVAC, and troubleshooting problems.
Rick works always with the property budget in mind. Through his years of experience, he knows how his team can perform within budget guidelines while still maintaining the highest level of service for both tenants and owners.
Concorde Management is a licensed general contractor for the city of Lincoln. With Rick's background and experience in construction, Concorde has contracted to build many structures in the Lincoln area and has been involved in numerous large remodeling projects in apartment buildings and office space..
You can be assured that any construction undertaken by Concorde will be performed according to the myriad of city codes and that it will be completed within budget when promised

 Jamison Whiston
Jamison serves as the Commercial Portfolio Manager for Concorde in addition to his responsibilities as a sales and leasing agent. Whiston manages operations for eith commercial buildings under the Concorde umbrella ranging from office and retail to industrial flex buildings. He is responsible for developing long-term growth in the areas of sales and leasing as well as commercial property management.
Whiston attended the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, where he studied business and finance. Whiston is a member of the National Association of Realtors and also a member of the finance committee of the Lincoln YWCA.

Richard K. Young
Richard K. Young joined the Concorde brokerage team following a 42-year career with a premier Lincoln/Omaha advertising agency, a career that saw him rise through the ranks from UN-L student intern to CEO. Retiring in 2004, Dick earned his real estate license and is having fun in his new career with Concorde. Over the years, Dick was manager and part owner and of the ad agency's real estate as well as investor in other properties. He knows the brokerage business from both sides.
He likes to mesh buyers with sellers and is constantly on the lookout for solutions to meet the unique needs of his clients. He calls it 'marketing,' and he's been in the business for more than 40 years, receiving numerous personal and professional accolades along the way.
A longtime community volunteer, Dick has shared his business acumen to benefit the many corporate and non-profit organizations on whose Boards of Directors he has served. He has great knowledge of the Lincoln community and many contacts. Contact him for your real estate needs. |
